Alan Clark

Alan Clark will present a talk and read from Toward the Fair Weather Bell, his chronicle of a summer spent with his daughter on Criehaven Island, a time of often ecstatic revelation and transformation in that extraordinary place. An artist and poet, Clark put this book together with excerpts taken from the many journals he kept during that time. Criehaven or Ragged Island, located, beyond Matinicus, is sparsely populated island and about an hour or so by lobster boat from Spruce Head.
