Register to Vote
New and current residents of Rockland can register to vote in person at the City Clerk’s office or at the Election Polls. At the time of registration, you will need to provide proof of residency in Rockland and proof of identification.
Acceptable proof of ID: State Driver’s License or Identification Card, Signed Social Security Card, Student ID, US passport, Military ID, or a Birth Certifcate.
Acceptable proof of Residency: Maine State License/ID with physical address, utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, lease/rental agreement, or other government documentation that shows the name and address of the voter.
Where to Vote?
