The city of Rockland Assessing Office is participating in the Thanks for Giving Food Drive.  Please bring a non-perishable item to donate when you come in to vote!

Donations will go directly to the AIO Food pantry for the community in need. Non-expired food items and diapers are of the utmost need

The Rockland Assessing Office has joined with their colleagues across the state to help those in need with an Election Day Food Drive. Please bring non-perishable food items with you to the polls (early donations will also be accepted).

Thanks For Giving was started in 2012 by Lyman assessor, Gina Merry. Gina’s food drive benefited Lyman’s local food pantry. Sadly, Gina lost her battle with cancer in 2016. The town of Lyman decided to honor Gina’s memory by continuing the food drive in 2017. Gina’s husband, Joe Merry, assessor in Standish, inspired both by his wife’s vision and Lyman’s decision to honor her memory, contacted his fellow assessors asking them to participate in Thanks For Giving food drives in their towns.
