On July 1, 2022 Transfer Station permits are increasing. $145.00 for a Resident Permit and $20.00 for a Second Sticker.
AS OF MAY 1ST, 2023 CITY HALL HOURS WILL CHANGE TO 7:30 AM TO 5:00 PM MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY, AND 7:30 AM TO NOON ON FRIDAY.
As of February 17th 2024 the Rockland transfer station will no longer accept ash from wood stoves, fire pits or any type of burning.

    A 2-week class.  Part of the Aging Well series co-sponsored by the Library and Maine Health/Pen Bay Medical Center.  Join Maine SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educators from Knox County for a 2-week class that will focus on the following themes: healthy eating; increasing consumption of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein; food resource management; and providing strategies for participants to stretch their food dollars. Taste tests and lots of freebies will be provided at each class! Registration is required as space is limited.
