CITY OF ROCKLAND BID NOTICE
MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE (MSW) & RECYCLING TRANSPORTATION BID
Sealed proposals to provide Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) & Recycling Transportation Services for the City of Rockland will be accepted by the City Manager at Rockland City Hall, 270 Pleasant Street, Rockland, ME, until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Bid Documents are available at the Office of the City Manager, Rockland City Hall, 270 Pleasant Street, Rockland, ME 04841 (telephone – (207) 594-0300), and on the City’s website at: http://bit.ly/RocklandMEPurchasing. Proposals shall be sealed in an envelope plainly marked:
“Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) & Recycling Transportation Services Proposal – Not to be Opened Until
2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 25th, 2020”
Bidders may be represented at bid opening if so desired. Faxed or e-mailed proposals will not be accepted. Proposals are binding upon Bidder if accepted by the City. The City of Rockland reserves the right to waive any informality in proposals, and to reject any or all proposals should it be deemed in the best interest of the City to do so.
