8.23.23 The recycle hopper and residential hopper have changed. They are clearly marked and any questions please see attendant.
On July 1, 2022 Transfer Station permits are increasing. $145.00 for a Resident Permit and $20.00 for a Second Sticker.
AS OF MAY 1ST, 2023 CITY HALL HOURS WILL CHANGE TO 7:30 AM TO 5:00 PM MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY, AND 7:30 AM TO NOON ON FRIDAY.
As of February 17th 2024 the Rockland transfer station will no longer accept ash from wood stoves, fire pits or any type of burning.

    Grace Morris (she/they) is a community organizer who has facilitated many collective visioning and planning sessions in her professional life. She has also personally practiced with friends annual intention setting and visioning and is excited to hold community space for creative reflection and imagining. Grace moved to Rockland from New Orleans in 2022 to learn woodworking, and has a long-term goal of building cultural, sustainable homes and community infrastructure.
