    Dave St. Laurent

    Katrina Venhuizen

Part of “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Rethink Week”, Sept. 17-21st, a collaborative effort initiated by the Co-op, Rockland Public Library and concerned community members.

Join Dave St. Laurent, Rockland Public Services Director, and Katrina Venhuezen, environmental educator at EcoMaine, for an evening of talking about our trash (and recycling, too). Dave will give audience members a break-down of Rockland’s Solid Waste Facility and the components that make up the facility (Transfer Station, Recycling Facility, Landfill, Compost area & Swap Shop) and the future physical and logistic changes that are taking place. Katrina will discuss what happens to all the recycling once it gets to Ecomaine and where it goes from here. Q & A to follow.
