  • Thompson Meadow Road Clean-up

The community is invited to join Rockland Librarians Jessie Blanchard and Patty King on Wednesday, April 26, from 2-3:30 as they combine a walk with a neighborhood roadside spring clean-up. Garbage bags will be provided. Walking or driving, participants will meet near the “Roadside Clean-Up” sign on Thompson Meadow Rd. Please park safely along one side of the road. Bags will be collected and dropped off at the transfer station by city staff. If there is rain, the clean-up will be scheduled for a later date, yet to be determined.

The activity is part of the Library’s Kindness Counts Initiative.

For more information, contact Patricia King at 594-0310 or email pking@rocklandmaine.gov.
