8.23.23 The recycle hopper and residential hopper have changed. They are clearly marked and any questions please see attendant.
On July 1, 2022 Transfer Station permits are increasing. $145.00 for a Resident Permit and $20.00 for a Second Sticker.
AS OF MAY 1ST, 2023 CITY HALL HOURS WILL CHANGE TO 7:30 AM TO 5:00 PM MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY, AND 7:30 AM TO NOON ON FRIDAY.
As of February 17th 2024 the Rockland transfer station will no longer accept ash from wood stoves, fire pits or any type of burning.

  • Tech Class: “Cutting the Cord”

    Back by popular demand!
    Cutting the Cord is about canceling cable or satellite services and being able to watch television shows online, as well as options that would allow you to get rid of your landline. This class will not only show the wide variety of options out there, but also teach some tools to decide if cutting the cord is right for you. No devices are required. This class is presented by the National Digital Equity Center and is taught by Eric Ewing, facilitated by Rockland Library staff. Online enrollment with the NDEC and class registration is required; to enroll, please visit digitalequitycenter.org/classes/enroll/. Then register for “Cutting the Cord”.
