Librarian Shane Billings with this month’s Tea Time Book Group pick.

We are excited to announce a new book discussion group, focusing on critically acclaimed and award-winning novels from the past five years. The program will kick off today with a discussion of Sing, Unburied, Sing by Jesmyn Ward, which won the 2017 National Book Award for Fiction. The Washington Post describes Ward as “one of the most powerfully poetic writers in the country.” The group will meet on the third Wednesday of each month from 3-4pm in the Library Board Room. Please contact Shane Billings at 594-0310 for further details and to request a copy of the book with your Rockland Public Library card.
