8.23.23 The recycle hopper and residential hopper have changed. They are clearly marked and any questions please see attendant.
On July 1, 2022 Transfer Station permits are increasing. $145.00 for a Resident Permit and $20.00 for a Second Sticker.
AS OF MAY 1ST, 2023 CITY HALL HOURS WILL CHANGE TO 7:30 AM TO 5:00 PM MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY, AND 7:30 AM TO NOON ON FRIDAY.
As of February 17th 2024 the Rockland transfer station will no longer accept ash from wood stoves, fire pits or any type of burning.

  • Saturday Storytime with Miss Jenn

    Visit us for all six weeks or just one.

    Join Ms. Jenn for community and friendship themed storytime includes music, movement, and crafts. This program is geared toward toddler – early elementary.
    “We dance, we sing, we pretend, and we move with rhythm scarves, bean bags, a parachute and more!” – Ms. Jenn

    Storytimes will take place in the Children’s Room or outside on the lawn at Rockland Public Library.

    Jenn is a mom of 3, and has been teaching storytimes for the past 11 years. She brings with her program a variety of music and movement opportunities, including kid’s yoga and imaginative play.
