8.23.23 The recycle hopper and residential hopper have changed. They are clearly marked and any questions please see attendant.
On July 1, 2022 Transfer Station permits are increasing. $145.00 for a Resident Permit and $20.00 for a Second Sticker.
AS OF MAY 1ST, 2023 CITY HALL HOURS WILL CHANGE TO 7:30 AM TO 5:00 PM MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY, AND 7:30 AM TO NOON ON FRIDAY.
As of February 17th 2024 the Rockland transfer station will no longer accept ash from wood stoves, fire pits or any type of burning.

  • Primaries, Parties and Ranked Choice Voting: What You Need to Know

    The Midcoast Chapter of the League of Women Voters will hold a public forum on to discuss party primaries, how they work in Maine, who can participate, why they matter, and what people need to know about ranked choice voting for this election. The forum will include a panel discussion. In addition, a report on the status of ranked choice voting will be presented by a member of the League of Women Voters of Maine. The purpose of the event is to educate voters and encourage them to take part in the primary election. It is not a candidate forum.
