  • NDEC Tech Class “Getting News & Information Online”

    This class is free and open to the public, and Registration is required to attend.

    With online content, we have a constant flow of information as well as misinformation. In this class we will look at ways to determine “real” news from “fake” news and then discover how to find the news & information you want using Blogs, Podcasts, online publications and much more.

    No devices are required; just bring yourself.

    This class is presented by the National Digital Equity Center and is taught by Nicole Moran and facilitated by staff. Online enrollment with the NDEC and class registration is required; to enroll, please visit this site: https://digitalequitycenter.org/classes/enroll/.

    The National Digital Equity Center provides communities at all levels the expertise needed to mobilize broadband technologies through digital inclusion, literacy efforts, education, resource planning, funding research, infrastructure leveraging and stakeholder engagement.
