With the new layout the parking lot at the high school there is little room to get emergency equipment through when vehicles are parked in the fire lane. If you park in the fire lane you will be ticketed or towed without exception. YOUR SAFETY IS OUR #1 PRIORITY.

  • Haunted: An Evening of Stories, Poetry & Music

Join librarians Jessie Blanchard & Patty King in the Reading Room for an evening of spooky and strange stories. Everyone is invited to come and share a (mostly) unscripted 5-minute story about a spooky, supernatural or otherworldly experience, either lived by you or imagined. Participants are welcome to use notes, if needed. And of course, just coming to listen is welcome. To sign up to share a story, contact King at pking@rocklandmaine.gov or 594-0310. Impromptu story sharing on the night of the event is also welcomed and encouraged. This event is intended for adults and teens as content may not be child-friendly. There will be atmospheric music accompaniment throughout the evening. Costumes welcome, if you’re so inclined!
