  • Getting Ready for 2024 – Guide to Semi-Open Primaries

Did you know that Maine now has semi-open primaries?

With the presidential primary around the corner on March 5, it’s important to know that unenrolled voters can now vote in the primary of their choice.

Join the Midcoast League of Women Voters at the Rockland Public Library for a quick guide to semi-open primaries, a refresher on ranked-choice voting, and learn about our election-related volunteer opportunities.

The League of Women Voters of Maine is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. We never support or oppose any political party or candidate.
