8.23.23 The recycle hopper and residential hopper have changed. They are clearly marked and any questions please see attendant.
On July 1, 2022 Transfer Station permits are increasing. $145.00 for a Resident Permit and $20.00 for a Second Sticker.
AS OF MAY 1ST, 2023 CITY HALL HOURS WILL CHANGE TO 7:30 AM TO 5:00 PM MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY, AND 7:30 AM TO NOON ON FRIDAY.
As of February 17th 2024 the Rockland transfer station will no longer accept ash from wood stoves, fire pits or any type of burning.

  • Census Days Job Fair

    Rockland Public Library will host two separate Census Days in November. The United States Census Bureau will be hiring for 2020 Census Jobs, a great chance to do enjoyable work with paid training and very flexible hours, right in your local community. Rockland Library will have a member of the Census Bureau available onsite to help people fill out an application, or to answer any questions about these local job opportunities. The sessions will be held in the Library Board Room on Monday, November 18th, from 5-7pm; and on Wednesday, November 20th, from 12-2pm.
