Winner of the 1992 Pulitzer Prize, Maus is the true story of author Art Spiegelman’s dad, Vladek, a Holocaust survivor, as well as his own relationship with his tortured father. Told in graphic novel format, this book continues to captivate and illuminate, as well as remain controversial, and is often challenged as required reading.
