Mother and daughter, Judith Carpenter and Amy Carpenter, launched books within one month of each other last fall. Their books are very different, but both felt called to write them in hopes of offering a useful response to some of the challenges of our time. A licensed psychotherapist (Amy) and an episcopal priest (Judith), they each took about a year to complete the books that have earned them both glowing reviews thus far.

For years, these two have honored, celebrated, and encouraged one another’s writing, despite their differences and unique ways of handling challenges. They are excited to tell their writing stories and to share what was most (and least) helpful along the way. Come join with us in an evening of conversation.
