Virtual Book Group: Maine Humanities Summer Discussion Session #2
Rockland Public Library and Maine Humanities Council present the second session of our Summer Discussion Series. These discussions celebrate Maine’s bicentennial with a wonderful list of readings related to the following themes: Many Maines, Wabanaki Voices, and Race & Ethnicity. The reading materials engage with these themes and invite Book Group participants to discuss and reflect on key issues and important but lesser known chapters in the history of Maine.
This second discussion will take place via Zoom on Wednesday, August 12th, at 2:30pm, and will focus on Wabanaki Voices. Readings for this program are available as PDFs. For access to the readings and to request the link to attend via Zoom, please email sbillings@rocklandmaine.gov. For more information, contact Patricia King or Shane Billings at 594-0310.
