Co-sponsored with the Rockland historical Society. Civil engineer George Barrett of Cumberland, Maine, will give a one-hour presentation on the history of steamboat design and steamboat routes along the coast of Maine, especially in Penobscot Bay and Rockland Harbor. The program will include many photos, maps, and drawings. Following the program, we will adjourn to the Historical Society Museum for refreshments and conversation.
