People wishing to apply must make an appointment with the General Assistance Administrator by calling (207) 594-0300 x. 226. Only clients with appointments will be seen. The General Assistance office is open Monday, Tuesday & Thursday , 8:00am – 11:30am. The office waiting room may be accessed from the rear parking lot at Rockland City Hall.
