“My Journey to Antarctica: How it (Finally) Happened” – A Talk by Robert Becker
Robert Becker will share the story of his recent two-week trip to Antarctica with National Geographic. Becker will begin by briefly discussing the logistics of the trip, including getting there, cost, shipboard life, food, weather, and gear. From there, he’ll touch on Shackleton’s voyage, geography, and wildlife. Included in the presentation are plenty of photos and anecdotes from his exciting adventure.
