David Florig

Maine author and curler David Florig will read from and discuss his debut novel, The Stones of Ailsa Craig. Set in present-day Belfast and 1880s Scotland, the book explores the ancient Scottish sport of curling and will appeal to fans of historical fiction and mysteries.

Florig grew up in South Jersey before retiring to Maine. He is the past-president of the Pine Tree Curling Club in Portland, Maine, as well as a member of the Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance.
