8.23.23 The recycle hopper and residential hopper have changed. They are clearly marked and any questions please see attendant.
On July 1, 2022 Transfer Station permits are increasing. $145.00 for a Resident Permit and $20.00 for a Second Sticker.
AS OF MAY 1ST, 2023 CITY HALL HOURS WILL CHANGE TO 7:30 AM TO 5:00 PM MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY, AND 7:30 AM TO NOON ON FRIDAY.
As of February 17th 2024 the Rockland transfer station will no longer accept ash from wood stoves, fire pits or any type of burning.

    BID NOTICE – SNOW REMOVAL SERVICES

    Sealed bids for snow removal services will be accepted by the City Manager at Rockland City Hall, 270 Pleasant Street, Rockland, ME, up to 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 7, 2017 at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Instructions and Specifications are available at the Office of the City Manager, Rockland City Hall, 270 Pleasant Street, Rockland, ME 04841 – telephone (207)593-0636 and on the City’s website: https://rocklandmaine.gov/municipal/requests-for-proposals/

    Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked:

     

    “Snow Removal Services Bid

    Not to be Opened until 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 7, 2017”

     

    Bidder may be represented at bid opening if so desired. Faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted. The City of Rockland reserves the right to waive any informality in bids, to accept any bid, and to reject any or all bids should it be deemed in the best interest of the City to do so.
