    BID NOTICE

     

    Sealed bids will be received by the:

     

    City of Rockland

    Rockland City Hall

    270 Pleasant Street

    Rockland, Maine 04841

     

    Up to 4 PM Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at which time they will be publicly opened and read for the Limerock Street Rehabilitation project.

     

    Work involves reclaim of existing roadway, grading, material compaction and paving.

     

    Bid documents are available from the Rockland Public Services Department –

    Telephone (207) 594-0320, Email publicservice@rocklandmaine.gov and at https://rocklandmaine.gov/municipal/requests-for-proposals/.  Outside envelope shall be plainly marked:

     

    Limerock Street Rehabilitation

    Not to be opened until 4 PM Tuesday, June 12, 2018

     

    A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled at the site – Limerock Street, at the City Transfer Station Entrance, near the intersection of Limerock Street and Old County Road in Rockland, Maine – at 10 AM on Tuesday, June 5, 2018.

     

    Bidder may be represented at bid opening if so desired.  Faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted.  The City of Rockland reserves the right to waive any informality in bids, to accept any bid, and to reject any or all bids should it be deemed in the best interest of the City to do so.  No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the bid opening.
