    Pedal over to Chapman Park before work for freebies, coffee, and breakfast snacks! This year, we’re excited to expand Bike to Work Day to invite South School students and families to join us for a free morning of fun on bikes.

    Breakfast Snacks

    Snack on bagels, donuts, fruit, juice boxes, and coffee, all kindly donated by Good Tern Co-Op, Ruckus Donuts, Hannaford, Walgreens, and Rock City Coffee.

    Bike Check-Up Station

    Getting your bike out for the season after a winter stored away? Bring it to Maine Sport’s Bike Check-Up Station for minor adjustments and a diagnostic check.

    Bike Obstacle Course

    Bicycle Coalition of Maine volunteers will lead students through a mini biking obstacle course and teach bike safety.

    Community Bike Infrastructure Forum

    Share your thoughts on biking in Rockland with City officials, and hear an update on current bike infrastructure projects.

    Group Bike Ride

    At 8:00 a.m., join a parade through downtown on your bike before heading off to work. See the route map for more information.

    Bike Bus to South School

    At 8:15 a.m., students and their families are invited to join a group bike ride to school, chaperoned by Rockland Police Department’s Bike Patrol Unit and volunteers. See the bike bus route map for more information.
