The Fire and EMS department completed our annual Confined Space Technician Training on September 13th. This year, the training included learning to operate a tripod system, known as the Arizona Vortex. This is an important and versatile piece of equipment that allows us to lower and raise people below grade.

Pictured is Lt. Cole instructing A-Shift on how to use the Arizona Vortex.
