8.23.23 The recycle hopper and residential hopper have changed. They are clearly marked and any questions please see attendant.
On July 1, 2022 Transfer Station permits are increasing. $145.00 for a Resident Permit and $20.00 for a Second Sticker.
AS OF MAY 1ST, 2023 CITY HALL HOURS WILL CHANGE TO 7:30 AM TO 5:00 PM MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY, AND 7:30 AM TO NOON ON FRIDAY.
As of February 17th 2024 the Rockland transfer station will no longer accept ash from wood stoves, fire pits or any type of burning.

  • Community Energy Forum

    The Rockland Energy Advisory Committee is pleased to announce its first Community Energy Forum on September 26 at 7pm in the council chambers of Rockland City Hall! This event will kickoff the process of developing a community energy policy for Rockland that will include plans and policies for energy efficiency, sustainability, economy, and resilience across both public and private sectors. Come hear expert panelists discuss community energy policies, including policies that other communities have successfully implemented, and then participate in a public question and comment session. Snacks will be provided!
