Lawn Concert: Louisa Stancioff, featuring the Kelly Brothers
Midcoast Maine-based Louisa Stancioff is an indie singer-songwriter. Louisa’s Bulgarian heritage shows through in her intricate melodies, having grown up learning traditional Bulgarian music from her paternal grandfather’s side of the family; growing up, she also enjoyed singing American folk and roots tunes with her friends. She often accompanies herself with an electric guitar. Louisa is originally from Chesterville, ME and currently lives in Camden. Her new single “Red Neck Yaught Club” for Yep Roc Records is streaming now: https://ffm.to/redneckyaughtclub.
Her bandmates, Dave and Dan Kelly, are brothers from Bucksport, ME who have grown up on the stage. They started playing in bands in elementary school, including playing with their father, well-known local artist Willy Kelly. Together, their set list typically includes Louisa’s original songs with a few covers thrown in.
