  • A comprehensive webpage for a better understanding of the 2025 Rockland revaluation

    The City of Rockland has contracted with Vision Government Solutions to provide revaluation services for the assessment date of April 1, 2025. The project began in September 2023 and will extend to August 2025.

    The Revaluation process includes data collection, market analysis, table updates, notices to property owners for the new assessment, informal hearings, commitment of taxes, and mailing of tax bills.

    Current Phase of Revaluation

    The 2025 Revaluation is almost complete. Property owners as of April 1, 2025, will soon receive a mailing that includes their new property assessment, the previous year’s assessment, and details on how to schedule an informal hearing if desired. Below, you’ll find helpful information and resources to assist.

    Scheduling an Appointment:

    To schedule an appointment for an informal hearing, please call 888-844-4300.

    The PID# and property location are on the assessment notice, which you must have available when scheduling an appointment.  Appointments are available via phone or an in-person meeting at City Hall.

    Your property card is a document that provides information about your property’s ownership history, parcel and building size, current and previous assessments, property tax exemptions, and more. Property cards are publicly available, and can be found by searching for a property address in the City’s Property and Zoning Database.
