    Nov. 7, 2017 Municipal Election
    City Council:  2 seats (Clayton, Geiger) 3-year terms.                                                       Signatures: 100-150
    RSU #13 Board of Directors:  1 seat (Bachofner) 3-year term.                                       Signatures:  100-150
    Election Warden:  1 seat (Avirett) 1-year term                                                                   Signatures:  15-30 
    Ward Clerk:  1 seat (Woodman) 1-year term                                                                      Signatures:  15-30
    (NOTE:  There are no seats available on the Rockland Port District for this election)
    Candidates may take out as many nomination papers as they wish.  The number of required signatures are as follows:
    For City Council and RSU #13 Board, must have no less than 100 nor more than 150 signatures of registered Rockland voters to qualify for placement on the ballot.  It is suggested that candidate collect at least 120-125 signature to make sure they have a sufficient number to qualify for placement on the ballot.  
    For Port District, Election Warden, and Ward Clerk, no less than 15 nor more than 30 signatures are required.
    Due Date:  Nomination Papers may be taken out beginning August 9, 2017 and must be filed at the City Clerk’s Office no later than 4:30 p.m. on September 25, 2017.
