  • Rockland Bike Planning Project

The City of Rockland received a 2023 Community Action Grant to improve the accessibility of biking in Rockland.

As part of this grant, the City is developing a network of bike routes that will connect community members to where they want to go. Low-cost roadway improvements such as signage, striping, and sharrows will be installed as part of this grant-funded project. See below for the project timeline and opportunities to provide input on the planning process.

If you’d like to sign up to receive email updates about this project, click here or send a blank email to sustainability@rocklandmaine.gov with subject line “bike”.
